Palestinian freelance photographer Karami Ledawi, 20, was shot in the face while covering an Israeli army operation in the Rafah refugee camp in the southern of Gaza Strip ,Tuesday , Oct. 14, 2003. His condition is serious but not life threatening. Dozens of armored Israel Defense Forces vehicles reentered the camp early Tuesday in the latest operation to uncover arms-smuggling tunnels.
